Microscale Micro Set Decal Setting Solution 1oz

Microscale Micro Set is a trusted decal setting solution designed to improve adhesion and positioning of waterslide decals during application. Used by model railroaders, scale model builders, military modelers, aircraft enthusiasts, and custom decal users, Micro Set helps decals bond more effectively to painted surfaces while reducing the likelihood of silvering and trapped air beneath the decal film.

Micro Set is often the first step in a professional decal application process and is commonly used before applying stronger decal softening solutions such as Micro Sol or Solvaset.

Improve Waterslide Decal Adhesion

Applying Micro Set to the model surface before placing the decal helps prepare the area for better decal adhesion. The solution allows the decal to settle more naturally onto the surface while helping minimize air bubbles and improving overall decal appearance.

Micro Set is ideal for:

• Model railroad decals
• Locomotive lettering and road numbers
• Freight car decals
• Passenger car decals
• Military model decals
• Aircraft decals
• Automotive decals
• Custom waterslide decals
• Home-printed decal sheets

Perfect for Model Railroad and Scale Model Projects

Whether you are applying decals to HO Scale, N Scale, O Scale, or S Scale rolling stock, locomotives, structures, vehicles, aircraft, ships, or military models, Micro Set helps create a cleaner and more professional decal application.

Many hobbyists use Micro Set as part of a complete decal finishing system, followed by a decal softening solution to help decals conform to rivets, seams, panel lines, and other surface details.
