Microscale Liquid Decal Film 1oz Restore and Protect Waterslide Decals

Microscale Liquid Decal Film is a specialized coating designed to restore, strengthen, and protect waterslide decals before application. This hobby favorite is commonly used to save older decal sheets that have become brittle, fragile, cracked, or prone to breaking apart during use.

Whether you are working with vintage railroad decals, discontinued decal sets, custom printed waterslide decals, military markings, aircraft decals, automotive graphics, or specialty hobby decals, Liquid Decal Film can help extend decal life and improve handling during application.

Restore Older and Fragile Decals

Over time, decal film can become brittle due to age, storage conditions, and environmental exposure. Applying a thin coat of Microscale Liquid Decal Film helps reinforce the decal carrier film, reducing the risk of cracking, splitting, tearing, or shattering when decals are removed from the backing paper.

This makes Liquid Decal Film especially useful for:

• Vintage decal sheets
• Out-of-production decals
• Rare railroad decals
• Fragile hobby decals
• Custom printed waterslide decals
• Home-printed decal sheets
• Aging model railroad decals

Perfect for Custom Printed Waterslide Decals

Microscale Liquid Decal Film is also commonly used by hobbyists and custom decal creators to protect printed decals before use. A light coating can help strengthen custom waterslide decals and improve durability during handling and application.

Compatible with Model Railroad and Scale Model Projects

Liquid Decal Film is widely used throughout the hobby industry for model railroad decals, military models, aircraft kits, automotive models, ships, structures, and custom modeling projects. It helps preserve decal integrity while maintaining fine printed detail.
